By assigning our collective tax dollars to pay for what we need — schools, roads, parks, and people to run them all — budgets can reflect the value we have for our communities and well-being.

Your Contributions Can Fund a Better Future in North Carolina: 

  • Your gift at $130 a month supports the cost of hosting a young person 18 to 24 years old for a 4-day deep dive on policy and systems change work in North Carolina  
  • $75 a month helps us to utilize virtual platforms to create space for partners to come together and coordinate engagement on the state budget and for our organization to share timely updates and ways to engage in policy with the public 
  • A $42 a month gift supports the cost of ensuring that community-based organizations are driving the policy questions that young people engage in during their time at Summer Policy Institute 
  • $24 a month covers the honorarium provided to experts on a range of policy who share their expertise and insights with students throughout the 4-day program  
  • $10 a month helps us reach five new people with our research and analysis through promotion of our findings on social media
